A study of philosophical issues arising from feminism. The course includes discussions of the relations between feminism, reason and ideological commitment, as well as critical evaluation of contemporary views on selected topics (e.g. abortion, pornography and censorship, affirmative action, and beauty). Prerequisite(s): 0.5 credit in philosophy or second-year standing.Lectures three hours a week.
