An exploration of the organization of the global financial system. Issues to be covered include the relationship between global finance and the state and the problems associated with governing global finance. Prerequisite(s): fourth-year Honours or permission of the Department, and one of GPOL 1000, PSCI 2602, PSCI 3600, or PSCI 3703.Also offered at the graduate level, with different requirements, as PSCI 5802, for which additional credit is precluded.Seminars three hours a week.
