The sociological analysis of food and eating. The relationship between food and identity; the development of social movements organized around food; and more generally, on practices relating to the production, preparation, and consumption of food. Prerequisite(s): ANTH 1001 or ANTH 1002 or ANTH 1003 [1.0], or 1.0 credit at the 1000-level in SOCI, ENGL, GEOG, HIST, HUMR, INDG, PSCI, RELI or WGST.Lectures and workshop three hours a week.
